Review a booking request
Confirm or decline a student's request from the email or the in-app banner, and see exactly what confirming creates.
In this article
When someone requests a class through your booking link, nothing is booked yet — the request waits for your decision, and the slot stays open until you confirm it.
Where requests appear
- Email — each request arrives with one-tap confirm and decline links.
- In the app — a banner on your calendar lists every pending request; Home points at it too.
A request that reaches its own start time unanswered expires quietly. Nothing is ever auto-billed.
What confirming does
- The class lands in your calendar at the requested time, priced by the subject the booker chose.
- If the booker is new, memore creates a student record for them; if their email or phone matches someone already in your roster, the class attaches to that existing student instead — no duplicates.
- The booker gets a confirmation email when they left an address. If they only left a phone number, memore hands you the confirmation to pass on, so nobody waits on a message that cannot arrive.
Declining
Declining frees the slot and notifies the booker the same way. A decline is final for that request — the booker can always request another time.
